Three minutes' walk from the 61st Street–Woodside station — the 7 train, the Long Island Rail Road, and the Q32, Q60, Q66 and Q70 buses all stop within a block. There is metered parking on 61st Street and a short loading bay outside the door. The entrance is step-free, the treatment rooms are on one level, and there is a bench by the door if you need a minute before you come in.
Most of our patients come from Woodside itself and from the neighbourhoods either side of the 7 line, but a good number travel in from further out because the station is directly connected and because a back that hurts does not enjoy a bus with a change in it. If you are coming from Manhattan, the Long Island Rail Road stop is the same building as the subway.

Getting here without making your back worse
By subway
The 7 to 61st Street–Woodside, then three minutes on foot. The station has a lift as well as stairs. If you are travelling with an acutely painful back, standing on a train is usually more comfortable than sitting on one, which surprises people — sitting loads the discs more than standing does.
By Long Island Rail Road
Woodside station is the same building as the 7. It is a single stop from Penn Station, which makes us unusually easy to reach from Manhattan and from much of Nassau County.
By bus
The Q32, Q60, Q66 and Q70 all stop within a block. The Q70 connects to LaGuardia, which is occasionally relevant for patients who have just got off a long flight and discovered what it did to their back.
By car
Metered parking on 61st Street, and a short loading bay directly outside for drop-off. If somebody is bringing you and your back is bad, use the bay — the entrance is step-free and it is about four paces from the kerb to a chair.
A fee agreed before the visit, not after it
Book an appointment
Pick a chiropractor and an hour from the calendar — it shows only the times each of them genuinely has free. A first visit is a full hour and costs $95 for the examination on its own, or $145 if we treat you at the same appointment. You decide which after the examination, not before.
